About the role

As the Neuropsychologist Advanced - Ambulatory Service, you will provide expert neuropsychological assessment, consultation and intervention across the Complex Chronic Disease Team (CCDT), Geriatric Evaluation and Management in the Home (GEMITH), and outreach services with the Bribie Island Healthy Ageing Assessment and Rehabilitation Team (HAART). This is an opportunity to apply your specialist expertise in a highly autonomous role while contributing to service innovation, workforce development, research and quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient care across Metro North Health.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

- Utilise knowledge and skills to identify research gaps or opportunities for neuropsychology within multidisciplinary teams, contribute to formal and/or novel research in neuropsychology and promote research collaborations with broader CCDT, GEMITH and HAART multidisciplinary teams, developing the knowledge base of the Neuropsychology profession and contributing to multidisciplinary and best patient care.
- Apply interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary knowledge to provide clinical advice and direction to neuropsychologists and the multidisciplinary team to improve client experience and outcomes.
- Act as content expert and primary point of contact for Neuropsychology for ambulatory neuropsychology services in CCDT, GEMITH and HAART, and act as a reference point or mentor to less experienced Neuropsychologists within the services.
- Provide clinical leadership, coordination,



and support for the ambulatory neuropsychology services and less experienced neuropsychologists to ensure quality standards, procedures, and programs are implemented, and best outcomes for patients and the wider community are achieved.
