Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician / Specialist ? Amberley, QLD | ?️ NV1 Clearance Required | ? Short-Term Contract

We are seeking an experienced NDT Technician/Specialist to support a high-profile Defence aviation program based at RAAF Amberley. This is a short-term contract opportunity with the potential for extension.

In this role, you will perform non-destructive testing and inspection activities on aircraft and associated equipment, ensuring compliance with strict safety and quality standards. Experience conducting NDT inspections within aerospace, aviation, Defence, or heavy engineering environments will be highly regarded.

Your new role

- Conduct non-destructive testing inspections on aircraft structures, components and systems
- Perform inspections using approved NDT methods and equipment
- Identify, assess and report defects in line with Defence and aviation standards
- Complete inspection records, technical documentation and compliance reports




- Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to support aircraft availability
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with quality requirements

What you'll need to succeed
- Current NV1 Security Clearance (mandatory)
- NDT Level 2 certification (NAS410, EN4179 or equivalent preferred)
- Experience performing NDT inspections and reporting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
