Eneraque is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead our workshop manufacturing operation in Rocklea.

This is not a warehouse-manager role. You will own the production system from inwards goods through to fabrication, welding, mechanical and electrical assembly, quality, factory testing readiness, packing and dispatch.

Your job is to take released project work from Operations and Project Delivery and ensure it is manufactured safely, efficiently, right the first time and ready for installation, commissioning and long-term service.

Eneraque designs, manufactures, installs and supports critical-power, fuel and renewable-gas infrastructure across Australia and Recent Zealand. Our workshop manufactures modular switchrooms, generator packages, acoustic containers and enclosures, fuel systems, tanks, reticulation, pipework, skids, exhaust systems and engineered mechanical and electrical assemblies.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will:

- Own the workshop production plan, capacity plan and daily priorities across complex project work.

- Lead the full manufacturing flow: inwards goods, stores, fabrication, welding, assembly, quality, factory testing readiness, packing and dispatch.

- Lead supervisors, fabricators, welders, fitters, assemblers and stores personnel.

- Convert drawings, bills of materials, work packs,



programme dates and target labour hours into practical manufacturing plans.

- Maintain a six-week production look-ahead and identify capacity, material and programme risks early.

- Ensure work entering the workshop is genuinely ready to build, and push back early where drawings, materials or technical information are incomplete.

- Lead the manufacture and factory-test readiness of modular switchrooms, generator packages, fuel systems and other engineered equipment.

- Manage labour productivity, overtime, rework, waste and subcontract costs to protect approved project manufacturing budgets.

- Work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Engineering and Procurement to remove blockers before they delay the workshop.

- Improve production systems, visual controls, workshop layout and manufacturing methods as Eneraque grows.

About You

You are a proven production leader from a project-based modular, prefabricated or engineered industrial manufacturing business.

You understand that high-value project manufacture requires more than supervising trades. It requires disciplined production planning, material readiness, quality control, cost awareness and clear accountability.

You will bring:

- Proven production leadership experience in high-specification modular or prefabricated industrial manufacturing.

- Experience with modular switchrooms, packaged plant, generator enclosures, fuel systems, process skids, piping systems, structural steel or comparable engineered equipment.

- Experience leading fabrication, welding, fitting, assembly and stores teams against programme and budget.

- Strong production-planning, capacity-planning and material-control capability.

- The confidence to identify incomplete work packs, material gaps and technical blockers before they become workshop delays.

- A practical understanding of labour productivity,



rework prevention, workshop safety and quality documentation.

- Trade qualifications in fabrication, mechanical fitting, electrical, construction or industrial manufacturing are highly regarded.

This role will not suit a general warehouse manager or someone whose experience is limited to high-volume residential modular construction.
