About Us

North Ballarat Football Netball Club is a busy and well-established community club located at Mars Stadium, featuring a large function centre, busy bistro, and a strong reputation for quality food and hospitality.

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Chefs to join our kitchen team for an immediate start.

About the Role

Working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team, you will assist in delivering high-quality meals and exceptional dining experiences across our bistro, functions, and events.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Assist with menu preparation and daily kitchen operations
- Maintain high standards of food presentation and consistency
- Support stock control, food preparation, and kitchen organisation




- Ensure compliance with food safety and WHS standards
- Assist with functions, catering, and event service
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service
- Maintain a clean and protected working environment

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, reliable, and able to thrive in a busy team environment.

Skills & Experience

- Experience working in a commercial kitchen preferred
- Relevant hospitality qualifications advantageous but not essential
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Team-focused with good communication skills
- Flexible availability including nights and weekends
