Our approach is grounded in trauma-informed practice, professional experience, lived experience of disability and an understanding of carer burnout. We believe good therapy should feel practical, respectful and connected to the person’s real life - not just their diagnosis or NDIS plan.

About the opportunity

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join Sidra Care on a part-time contractor basis.

The caseload can be shaped around your availability, clinical interests and preferred work locations. Depending on participant needs, appointments may be delivered in our Regents Park office, participants’ homes, community settings or via telehealth. We have a state of the art sensory room that is shared across clinicians. We offer a quite and private room to ensure any onsite notes or reports can be done.

Key responsibilities

- Complete functional and occupational assessments
- Develop practical, participant-centred goals and recommendations
- Support daily living, independence and meaningful participation
- Prepare transparent, high-quality reports and documentation
- Provide capacity-building interventions within your scope of practice
- Work collaboratively with families, support coordinators, support workers and other clinicians
- Contribute to multidisciplinary discussions and participant planning
- Maintain professional and timely clinical records

About you You will be an Occupational Therapist who is clinically thoughtful,



reliable and comfortable working independently while remaining connected to a collaborative team.

You will ideally have

- A relevant Occupational Therapy qualification
- Current AHPRA registration
- Experience working with NDIS participants, or a strong interest in NDIS practice
- Experience supporting children and/or adults
- Solid clinical reasoning, report-writing and communication skills
- A warm, respectful and culturally responsive approach
- The ability to manage a flexible caseload

Essential contractor requirements

- ABN
- Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle if undertaking community or home visits
