About the role

You will provide Occupational Therapy services primarily from our Melton clinic, with a strong focus on paediatric NDIS participants. Your caseload will be approximately 90% paediatric participants, including younger children and school-aged children, and 10% early teenage and adult participants, depending on referrals and service needs. The position is designed to be predominantly clinic based.

If an occasional community-based visit is required, a company vehicle will be provided, so you will not be expected to routinely use your own vehicle for participant appointments.

Key responsibilities

- Complete occupational therapy assessments for children and young people
- Develop individualised therapy goals and intervention plans
- Provide therapy addressing fine and gross motor skills, self-care and daily living skills, sensory processing and regulation, emotional regulation, play and social participation, and school and community participation
- Work closely with parents, carers, teachers and other professionals
- Prepare progress notes, therapy plans and NDIS-related reports
- Review participant progress and update therapy strategies as required
- Provide practical strategies for use at home, school and in the community
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Identify and report participant risks or safeguarding concerns
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

About you

- Bachelor or Master qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Current or eligible NDIS Worker Screening Check




- Working with Children Check
- Current driver's licence
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Interest in paediatric occupational therapy and the NDIS sector
- Commitment to person-centred and evidence-informed practice
- Up to 1–2 years' paediatric OT experience is desirable
- Experience working with children with autism, developmental delay, ADHD or other disabilities is beneficial
