We are currently seeking an Operational Services Manager with a passion for agriculture to join our team.
What You Will Do
- Lead the day to day commercial operation of Sims Farm.
- Collaborate with staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
- Support the Agricultural Education by assisting teachers to deliver the program.
- Assist in the development of the Agricultural teaching program.
- Operate and manage farm equipment.
- Manage sheep (tagging / flocking) and ensure flock health.
What You Will Bring
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of a range of sustainable farming practices, particularly those involved in a dryland, broad-acre farming enterprise.
- Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain a variety of equipment commonly used in agriculture.
- Ability to establish sound and effective relationships with staff, students, parents, local farmers, industry specialists, and sponsors.
- Ability to work without direct supervision and plan own daily/weekly routines.
