Onsite Laborer – Door Installations

2 Casual Positions Available | Brisbane & Surrounding Areas

Australian Architectural Fire Doors Pty Ltd is a family-owned and operated Queensland company specialising in the manufacture and installation of fire doors, metal frames and other fire-industry products.

We are looking for 2 reliable and motivated Casual Labourers to join our Door Installation Teams.

Positions available:

- 1 position – Brisbane Northside – with travel between Brisbane City and Sunshine Coast
- 1 position – Brisbane Southside – with travel between Brisbane City, Gold Coast and Ipswich.

About the Role

- Casual position with approximately 38 hours per week, plus overtime when available
- Early starts – 6:30am onsite
- Assisting with the installation of fire doors
- Heavy lifting and labor-intensive work
- Working with hand and power tools
- Travelling to various job sites
- Working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Full training will be provided to the right applicant
- Opportunity for advancement for the right person

About You We are looking for someone who:

- Takes pride in their work and is keen to learn and develop their skills
- Is reliable, honest, trustworthy and motivated




- Has a positive attitude and is willing to work hard
- Can work effectively as part of a team
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Is physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and labor-intensive work
- Has some experience using hand tools
- Has previous construction or building-site experience (highly regarded)
- Is willing to travel between job sites
- Has a current driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Holds a White Card
- Is willing to learn recent skills and take on additional responsibilities
