As part of a collaborative finance team, you will gain exposure to senior leadership while playing a key role in an upcoming ERP transformation project.

Your new role

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you will provide critical financial support to operational leaders across the business, helping drive performance through accurate reporting, forecasting and commercial insight.

Key responsibilities will include

- Preparing budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
- Supporting month-end close activities, including revenue and cost accruals
- Managing revenue recognition and cost matching processes
- Reviewing operational performance and profitability across multiple cost centres
- Partnering with Operations Managers, the General Manager and CFO
- Supporting invoicing, accounts receivable and commercial reporting activities
- Attending regular revenue and cost review meetings with key stakeholders
- Assisting with tender costing, project analysis and commercial modelling
- Developing performance reporting and operational insights
- Contributing to a major ERP upgrade project commencing next year





What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will have:
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant, Operations Accountant or Project Accountant role
- Strong understanding of P&L; management, forecasting, accruals and month-end reporting
- Experience working within project-based, engineering, industrial, resources, construction, manufacturing or similar commercial environments
- Exposure to Dynamics GP or comparable ERP systems
- Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills
- Ability to work independently within a hands-off management environment
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Advanced Excel capability
- CA or CPA qualification (or working towards) is advantageous but not essential
