About the role

Due to growth, we are seeking an experienced full time Operations Manager to oversee the cleaning operations based at a site in Mascot with travel to other sites based in NSW and intermittent travel to Canberra. The Operations Manager will include developing and empowering your team, managing day-to-day operations, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring strict adherence to compliance and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations, ensuring service delivery excellence, efficiency, and adherence to contract specifications.
- Provide practical, hands on support onsite daily
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's national objectives.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement to enhance service delivery.
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and success.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to ensure your team is equipped to meet business objectives.
- Manage supervisors to ensure staff are performing to agreed requirements and provide direct supervision to staff in the absence of supervisors
- Serve as a point of contact for major clients, maintaining strong, trusted relationships.
- Actively engage with clients to understand their evolving needs, ensuring service excellence and retention.
- Ensure all operations comply with relevant legislation, regulations,



and company policies.

About you

- 5 + years of experience in a senior operations or leadership role within the facilities management, cleaning, or related industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale operations and diverse teams effectively.
- A track record of success in client relationship management and business development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of people, safety, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
- Results-driven with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
