Northern Endoscopy Centre (NEC) and Southern Endoscopy Centre (SEC) are specialist private day hospitals serving patients across Adelaide. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead non-clinical operations across both facilities and strengthen the teams, systems and processes that support excellent patient service and sound business performance.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Director/CEO, you will be the senior non-clinical leader across NEC and SEC. This is a hands-on role for someone who is present, approachable and comfortable working with administration teams, medical practitioners, clinical leaders and Finance while taking ownership of operational performance.

You will have genuine scope to establish consistent ways of working across two centres. Your focus will be on making the patient journey run smoothly, ensuring billing and revenue are accurate, and using reliable systems and reporting to identify what needs attention and follow it through.

Your focus will include

- leading and developing Administration Managers and teams across both sites;
- establishing clear processes for bookings, admissions, patient administration and billing;
- strengthening billing accuracy, patient payment collection, debtor follow-up and revenue reconciliation with the Finance Manager;
- making better use of FYDO and other business systems through sound data, training and practical improvements;
- improving procedural scheduling and list utilisation in partnership with medical practitioners; and
- providing clear reporting, early escalation and dependable follow-through for the Director/CEO.

About you You are an accomplished healthcare operations leader with experience in a private hospital, day hospital, procedural service or comparable healthcare workplace.



You understand the connection between patient administration, billing, systems and financial performance. You bring strong people leadership, commercial awareness and the judgement to address problems openly and see solutions through.

We are particularly interested in candidates who bring:

- experience leading administration teams and improving complex healthcare workflows;
- strong knowledge of hospital and medical practitioner billing, claiming, debtors and revenue integrity;
- confidence using patient management systems and operational data to improve accuracy and performance;
- the ability to build a positive, accountable culture and work constructively with clinical and medical colleagues; and
- ideally, practical experience with FYDO or a comparable patient management and billing system.
