OPERATIONS & SERVICE DELIVERY COORDINATOR
Permanent Full time | Logan Village, QLD
$82,500–$86,000 + super + applicable on-call allowance
KoaHanii Disability and Mental Health Services is seeking two experienced Operations & Service Delivery Coordinators to join our Logan Village team.
This is a hands-on hybrid role for people who enjoy coordinating services while remaining connected to participants, frontline workers and day-to-day service delivery.
The position combines office-based coordination, workforce support, participant engagement, service quality, operational follow-up and direct community-based participant support.
THE ROLE The position generally includes:
Three office-based days and two community/direct-support days each week.
Participant and service coordination.
Staff guidance and operational follow-up.
Routine rostering and service-continuity coordination.
Participant engagement and service-quality monitoring.
Recruitment and onboarding support.
Communication with participants, families, staff and external professionals.
Monitoring actions, documentation and service issues through to completion.
Alternating after-hours on-call responsibility.
Both Coordinator positions are of equal standing and work closely with each other, Administration Personnel and Senior Management.
Different operational focus areas may be allocated between the two Coordinators to support workload management, continuity and accountability. Further detail regarding portfolio responsibilities and roster arrangements will be provided to shortlisted applicants during the interview process.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
This role will suit someone who:
Has solid experience in disability, mental health, community services or a related sector.
Is organised and capable of managing competing priorities.
Follows tasks through to completion rather than simply identifying problems.
Communicates confidently with participants, families,
staff and external professionals.
Is comfortable providing practical guidance and support to frontline workers.
Can recognise when an issue requires immediate action or escalation.
Understands the importance of accurate documentation, handovers and recordkeeping.
Values participant choice, dignity, safety and quality service delivery.
Can balance office responsibilities with direct participant support.
Can work independently while remaining accountable to a team and Senior Management.
Previous experience as a Coordinator, Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, Key Worker, House Supervisor or similar position will be highly regarded.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Applicants will need:
NDIS Worker Screening clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
Blue Card where applicable.
Current First Aid and CPR.
Current Australian driver licence.
Reliable vehicle.
Ability and willingness to undertake community-based participant support.
Ability to participate in an alternating after-hours on-call roster.
Relevant qualifications in Disability, Community Services, Mental Health or a related field are desirable.
Strong demonstrated industry experience will also be considered.
WHAT WE OFFER
Permanent full-time employment.
$82,500–$86,000 per annum plus superannuation.
