Melbourne Property Maintenance and Repairs is an established property maintenance business servicing residential and commercial properties across Melbourne.
The Role
Work will involve a variety of general property maintenance and repair work, which may include:
- General handyman repairs and maintenance
- Carpentry and timber repairs
- Patching, plastering and painting
- Door, lock and hardware repairs/installation
- Fencing and gate repairs
- Caulking and sealing
- General home and property repairs and installations
- Basic garden/property maintenance
- Other residential and commercial maintenance work depending on your skills and experience
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong, genuine hands-on experience as a handyman or in property maintenance
- Can confidently assess jobs, problem-solve and complete work independently
- Takes pride in the quality of their workmanship
- Is reliable, punctual and professional
- Has positive communication and customer service skills
- Has their own reliable vehicle
- Has their own tools and equipment suitable for general handyman work
- Holds an ABN
- Has appropriate public liability insurance
- Has a current Australian driver's licence
Practical hands-on experience is more important to us than formal qualifications. A trade qualification or background in carpentry, building, painting or another relevant trade is an advantage, but we are primarily looking for someone who has proven experience, practical skills and the ability to get the job done properly.
