A busy, well‑established engineering workshop in Lower Hutt is looking for a skilled CNC Operator who can also program . This is a hands‑on role on modern CNC machinery, producing high‑quality components for a fast‑moving production environment.
About the Role n
n
- CNC operation – run CNC mills/routers safely and efficiently
n
- CNC programming – create, edit, and optimise programs (Fusion 360 / similar)
n
- Quality checks – measure parts, check tolerances, follow job sheets
n
- Workshop support – assist with production tasks and maintain a clean, safe workspace
n
What You Bring nn
- Strong experience as a CNC Operator , with the ability to program confidently
n
- Solid understanding of machining, tooling, feeds/speeds, and production workflows
n
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
n
- Reliable, mechanically minded, and safety‑focused
n
- Positive attitude and able to work well in a busy team environment
n
