Graduate Occupational Therapist – Help Build Our OT Capacity

Transformational Recruitment is proud to be partnering with Therapeutic Support Services to find a motivated Occupational Therapist to join the team at the newCommunity Access Evidence Hub in Islington.

With a fully functional kitchen, dedicated sensory room, fitness and wellness space, creative activity areas, and versatile spaces for individual and group supports, every room creates opportunities to build skills, increase independence, work towards goals, and capture meaningful evidence of participant progress.

About the Role

This is a Hub-based Occupational Therapist position working with NDIS participants attending the Community Access Evidence Hub to support independence, everyday functioning, and participation.

The role may include:

- Delivering evidence-based occupational therapy services to NDIS participants across the lifespan.
- Completing Functional Capacity Assessments and reports.
- Assessing everyday living skills, functional capacity, and participation.
- Supporting participants with daily living skills, sensory regulation, emotional regulation, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and community participation.
- Developing participant goals and intervention strategies.
- Delivering individual and group OT supports.
- Completing OT assessments, progress notes, and clinical reports.
- Providing guidance to support workers on the implementation of OT strategies.
- Collaborating with families,



carers, support coordinators, schools, and other allied health professionals.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and NDIS-compliant reporting.
- Reviewing participant documentation to support goal-focused and evidence-based practice.
- Helping to develop OT resources, assessment processes, and systems as the service grows.

About You

We are interested in hearing from both new graduates and early-career Occupational Therapists.

- A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification.
- Current or pending AHPRA registration prior to commencing clinical duties.
- Strong communication, organisational, and report-writing skills.
- A genuine interest in disability and supporting participant independence.
- A willingness to learn and develop clinical skills.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one.
- A Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain one where required.
- Experience working within the NDIS.
- Experience completing Functional Capacity Assessments.
- Experience with sensory and behavioural support strategies.
- Experience working with younger and/or adult participants with psychosocial, intellectual, physical, or developmental disabilities.





New graduates are encouraged to apply. Relevant NDIS or disability experience is desirable but is not essential for the right applicant.
