About the Role

Clean and Service Domestic and Commercial Swimming Pools

Install pool and spa equipment

Analyse and remedy equipment issues during scheduled and call-out services

Ensure best practices are followed by the technician team in respect of manual handling and WH&S; procedures in the field

Respond to emergency call outs from key commercial and residential clients

Communicate with the Shop about any client complaints and all sales opportunities

Ensure efficient water testing / balancing and adding of chemicals is performed

Deliver effective and clear communication with clients and technician team members

Maintain appropriate inventory levels of chemicals and parts in service vehicles to ensure completion of service and / or repair during client visits

Manual handling / lifting of heavy items up to 25kgs

Skills and experience

Make no mistake, we are looking for the best. To be successful in this role we are looking for someone willing to learn, who’s prepared to jump in and get the job done. The key requirements for our Technician include:

- Enjoy working outdoors in a physical role
- Experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Comfortable working in sometimes tight and noisy spaces.
- Self-motivated and positive – you possess and display a can-do attitude every time.
- Well presented and act in a professional manner at all times.
- Results driven and team orientated with robust problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability and desire to service client to a very high standard – the client comes first
- Able to work unsupervised.
- Punctual, reliable, courteous and trustworthy – the non‑negotiable come naturally you’re the same person at home, as you are at work
- Current CPR certificate is highly regarded
- Possess a current open manual driver’s licence is a must
- Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
