About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative Project Manager to lead projects in Agricultural Technology , working entirely remotely from Paarl, Western Cape . You will be instrumental in developing and implementing cutting-edge solutions that enhance farming practices, improve crop yields, and promote sustainability within the agricultural sector. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, project management expertise, and a passion for leveraging technology to solve real-world agricultural challenges. You will collaborate with agronomists, engineers, and technology providers to drive impactful projects forward.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of AgriTech projects , from concept to deployment.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and risks effectively, ensuring project goals are met.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including R&D;, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless project progression.
- Oversee the implementation and integration of new agricultural technologies and systems.




- Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations in agricultural technology to identify new project opportunities.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management , preferably within the agricultural technology or related sectors.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects involving technology implementation and process improvement.
- Strong understanding of agricultural practices and the application of technology in farming.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, adapted for remote work.
- Experience with project management software and collaboration tools.
