About the role

As a Wine Specialist & Guest Experience Host, you'll be the face of our Cellar Door, creating genuine connections with guests while delivering exceptional wine experiences. You'll guide tastings, share the stories behind our wines and vineyards, host private groups and tours, and help guests discover products they'll love. You'll play a key role in driving wine sales, Wine Club memberships and guest loyalty, while ensuring every visitor leaves with a memorable impression of the Estate.

Key responsibilities

- Deliver warm, personalised and engaging guest experiences
- Conduct wine tastings tailored to individual guest preferences
- Host private tastings, group experiences and winery tours
- Share the story of our wines, vineyard and brand through engaging storytelling
- Promote and convert guests into Wine Club members and mailing list subscribers
- Drive wine, retail and experience sales through consultative selling techniques
- Provide recommendations on wine selections, food pairings and Estate experiences




- Process retail sales and cellar door transactions accurately
- Maintain premium presentation standards across the Cellar Door and retail space
- Assist with stock control, opening and closing procedures

About you

- Previous experience in hospitality, retail, tourism, cellar door, events or another customer-facing role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional presentation and strong attention to detail
- A genuine passion for customer service and guest experience
- Wine knowledge or certification (desirable)
- Ability to work weekends, public holidays and peak tourism periods
- Reliable transport and ability to travel to Mickleham
