Intermediate Solicitor - Family Law (Cronulla)

Our award-winning Cronulla beachside office is seeking a passionate and energetic full-time solicitor to join our family law team. This role offers excellent exposure to complex, high-quality family law matters and autonomy over your own matter load. You'll be confident running your own matters from initial client meeting through to resolution and court appearances, with growing autonomy over your own matter load as your experience develops. Receiving oversight and strategic guidance from our Senior Associates and Accredited Specialist along the way on your more complex or higher-risk files. You’ll be coordinating your workflow with the support of our experienced support staff and talented graduates. As your experience grows, you’ll also have the opportunity to support and guide junior lawyers and graduates within a genuinely cooperative environment.

Key responsibilities

Running your own files across the full range of family law work, including:

- Parenting arrangements
- Property settlements
- Child support
- Asset protection
- Mediations and court appearances

About you

- Relevant experience providing high-quality family law advice, with a demonstrated ability to manage your own files
- Experience mentoring, supervising or reviewing the work of junior solicitors
- Initiative and enthusiasm
- A confident, professional manner
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
