The Y Valentine OSHC is a vibrant and community‑minded service that supports children before and after the school day, as well as during school holidays. The Centre offers a safe and familiar environment where children feel secure, valued and connected within their before school, after school and vacation care programs. At Valentine OSHC, the Centre embraces curiosity and active engagement. Children are offered opportunities to explore, play and collaborate, whilst also having access to calm spaces for rest and reflection. This balanced approach supports children to thrive socially, physically and emotionally.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Casual OSHC Educator to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for school-aged children in our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities before and after school
- Plan and implement creative recreational and educational programs
- Ensure the safety, health, and wellbeing of all children in your care
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Maintain accurate attendance records and documentation
- Adhere to the National Quality Framework (NQF) and relevant legislation
- Contribute to a welcoming and inclusive program environment

Requirements

- Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education, Child Care, or a related field (or working towards one)
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid,



CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly regarded
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly across morning and afternoon shifts
- A genuine passion for supporting children's development and wellbeing
