Heavy Vehicle Off-Road Tyre Fitter

We are seeking an experienced OTR tyre fitter to support the heavy mobile equipment fleet on a hard rock mining operation in Queensland. You will be responsible for the safe removal, inspection, fitting, rotation and pressure management of earthmover and off-the-road tyres and wheel assemblies on haul trucks, loaders, graders, water carts, service vehicles and, where applicable, underground loaders and trucks.

ABOUT THE ROLE

- North Queensland Hard Rock Mine
- $90 per hour + superannuation on all hours
- 2/1 Roster - Flights from Brisbane, Townsville & Cairns available
- Superannuation is paid on ALL worked hours
- ACN rates are available





QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- Australian Trade Recognized Certificate/s
- Minimum 3+ years' experience working as a heavy vehicle fitter
- Tyre Changing Certification & Experience within the mining industry
- Ability to work autonomously
- HR driver's licence
- High Risk Work Licence - Forklift
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen + MMQ Screening
- National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one
- A strong focus on safety and the ability to work in a team
