Paediatric Physiotherapist – Part-Time

1–2 days per week | $55–$75 per hour + travel | Flexible hours

Are you a physiotherapist who loves working with children and wants to build your skills in paediatrics in a supportive and friendly team? Leapfrog Physiotherapy is looking for a part-time Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our established team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paediatric physiotherapist or a new graduate looking to develop their career in paediatrics.

We are initially looking for someone to work 1–2 days per week, with the opportunity to increase hours and working days over time as your caseload develops.

About Leapfrog Physiotherapy

Leapfrog Physiotherapy has been providing paediatric physiotherapy services in Adelaide for over 10 years. We are one of Adelaide's longest-established private paediatric physiotherapy practices and have developed a strong reputation within the local community. We provide land-based physiotherapy and hydrotherapy throughout Adelaide and the Adelaide Hills, working with children from birth through to young adulthood.

Our clients have a wide range of presentations, including:

- Cerebral palsy
- Neuromuscular conditions
- Developmental delay
- Genetic conditions and syndromes
- Autism spectrum disorder
- Other developmental and physical disabilities

We work closely with children and their families, schools, support staff, government agencies and other health professionals to provide individualised, goal-oriented physiotherapy that is meaningful, engaging and fun.

About the role

As a Paediatric Physiotherapist with Leapfrog, you will:

- Assess, plan, implement and review individualised physiotherapy programs
- Deliver land-based physiotherapy and hydrotherapy
- Work across a variety of environments, including schools, community settings and aquatic facilities
- Develop meaningful relationships with children and their families
- Work collaboratively with schools,



support staff and other health professionals
- Manage your own caseload with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility
- Communicate effectively with families and other members of the therapy team
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
- Continue developing your clinical skills through professional development, mentoring and hands-on experience

If you're a new graduate or early-career physiotherapist interested in paediatrics, we'd love to hear from you. You don't need to have extensive paediatric experience – we will support you to develop your skills and confidence.

Our support for new clinicians includes:

- One-on-one training
- Work shadowing with experienced paediatric physiotherapists
- Ongoing clinical mentoring and support
- Monthly in-house professional development sessions
- Opportunities to develop your skills in both land-based physiotherapy and hydrotherapy

About you

We are looking for a physiotherapist who is:
- Passionate about working with children and young people
- Warm, friendly and able to build strong relationships with children and families
- Enthusiastic about learning and developing their clinical skills
- Committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy
- A good communicator and team player
- Organised and able to work independently
- Flexible and willing to work across different locations




- Experienced in paediatrics or enthusiastic about developing a career in paediatric physiotherapy

Essential requirements:

- Current AHPRA registration
- Current DCSI/Working with Children clearance
- Current First Aid certification
- Current driver's licence
- Reliable access to your own vehicle
