We are seeking an experienced and professional Painter to join our Contract Services team based at our Osborne Park office. This is a hands-on trade role, ideal for a senior, capable painter who takes pride in their work and enjoys the variety of moving between different sites and clients.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Supervisor – Maintenance, you'll primarily be engaged on simple painting jobs identified by our supervisors when quoting works — generally anything expected to take less than a day, such as painting doors, walls, ceilings and general touch-up work. You'll also support our Projects team with touch-ups and similar minor works from time to time. This is very much an on-the-tools role, with no supervisory responsibilities attached.

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out professional painting works across commercial, industrial and government properties in the Perth metro area
- Painting of doors, walls, ceilings and general touch-up and minor repair work
- Assess and quote the time and materials required for painting jobs
- Prepare surfaces and work areas prior to painting
- Complete job paperwork via mobile device, including time and materials, for accurate invoicing
- Use job scheduling software (e.g. SimPRO) to manage and update allocated jobs
- Maintain a clean, tidy and well-presented work site at all times





What We're Looking For:

- Experienced: A fairly senior, capable painter with strong technical painting skills across a range of settings
- Licensed: A contractor's license is preferred
- Quoting Know-How: Experience quoting or advising on the time and materials required for jobs
- Tech-Savvy: Experience using job scheduling/management software such as SimPRO through a mobile device
- Ready to Go: Current Driver's License, National Police Check and White Card
- Professional: Well-presented, with a positive "can-do" attitude and outstanding work ethic
- Team Player: Able to work autonomously as well as within a broader team
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in government or aged care contracts highly regarded
