YEM Technology is looking for experienced Painters and Blasters to join our team at the Sino Iron Project on an ongoing 2:1 FIFO roster ex Perth.

YEM Technology is a Western Australian maintenance, commissioning, construction and electrical company specialising in fixed plant maintenance, shutdown maintenance, greenfield and brownfield SMPE&I; construction services across the mining and mineral processing sectors.

About the Role

This is a permanent and casual chance based at Cape Preston, WA, working a 2:1 roster (one week days, one week nights, one week off). Shifts are 12 hours, including a 30-minute paid lunch break.

What You Will Be Doing

- Abrasive blasting and surface preparation to specification
- Selecting, mixing and applying protective coatings and industrial paint systems
- Reading and following paint specs,



technical data sheets and mixing procedures
- Setting up, cleaning and maintaining spray and blasting equipment
- Working at heights and in confined spaces as required
- Comply with safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment

What We're Looking For

- Australian recognised Trade Certificate in Painting and Decorating (Cert III) or equivalent trade certification
- Demonstrated industrial or mining painting and blasting experience
- High Risk Work Licence (EWP/WP + LF)
- Working at Heights, Confined Spaces and Gas Test Atmospheres certificates
- Construction "White" Card
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Valid driver's licence
- Comfortable wearing a 3M 7500 mask while working, clean-shaven

What We Offer

- FULL TIME: $51.15 ph
- CASUAL: $63.94 ph
- NIGHT SHIFT ALLOWANCE: $7.67 ph
