Smiths Bodyshops is looking for an experienced and qualified Panel Beater to join our Port Augusta team.

If you’re a trade-qualified Panel Beater with hands-on industry experience, take pride in quality workmanship and are looking for a stable, long-term position, we’d like to hear from you.

You’ll work with an experienced team in a well-equipped workshop, completing panel and structural repairs to a high standard.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Assess vehicle damage and repair requirements.
- Repair and replace damaged panels and structural components.
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicles safely.
- Complete repairs to approved repair methods and OEM standards.
- Carry out quality checks on completed work.
- Work with the team to meet repair deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Trade qualification in Panel Beating.
- Previous experience working as a Panel Beater.
- Strong panel repair, replacement and reassembly skills.




- Good attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Reliable and safety-focused.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current Driver’s Licence.
- Ability to obtain a National Police Check.
