Description

We're a local hospitality group with several venues and a catering arm, and we're hiring a part-time chef to join one of our kitchens. Each venue has its own pace and personality, but we expect the same everywhere: show up, work well with your team and take pride in what you do. This role suits someone who cares about great food and hospitality and wants to be part of a place locals love coming to.

It's two to three shifts per week, increasing to four or five during busy periods. The role is paid at Level 4 part-time award rates: $29.45 per hour midweek and $44.18 per hour on Sundays. What you'll do

- Prepare and cook food to a consistent standard
- Help keep kitchen service running smoothly
- Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards




- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams

- Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Reliable, punctual and a good team player
- Pride in your work and care for the food you put out
- Available for two to three shifts per week, with more during busy periods
