An established engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Registered Surveyor to join its growing land development team.

n

You will lead the delivery of complex cadastral and subdivision surveying projects across residential, commercial and infrastructure developments.
n Working closely with senior leadership and internal engineering teams, you will combine technical surveying expertise with project management, team leadership and client engagement.

n

The position provides genuine autonomy and the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and development of the surveying function.

Your responsibilities will include: n

n
- Managing cadastral and subdivision surveys across NSW
n
- Coordinating fieldwork, plan preparation and project documentation
n
- Delivering delimitation, redefinition, strata and stratum surveys
n
- Reviewing and certifying plans in accordance with BOSSI requirements
n
- Managing project budgets, resources, programs and deliverables
n
- Providing technical surveying advice during planning, design and construction
n
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams
n
- Building relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, councils and government authorities
n
- Leading and mentoring junior surveying team members
n
- Preparing proposals, scopes of work and fee estimates
n
- Maintaining robust survey data management and quality assurance standards
n
- Supporting improvements across systems, technology and project delivery processes
n

To be successful,



you will have: n

n
- A Bachelor’s degree in Surveying or an equivalent recognised qualification
n
- Approximately 10 to 15 years’ experience within the land development industry
n
- Current registration as a Surveyor with BOSSI NSW
n
- Accomplished experience across all aspects of cadastral land surveying in NSW
n
- Strong knowledge of relevant NSW legislation, regulations and surveying standards
n
- Demonstrated experience leading surveying teams and managing projects
n
- Strong practical fieldwork experience
n
- Experience across subdivisions, boundary definition, redefinition, strata and stratum surveys
n
- Proficiency in 12D, AutoCAD, total stations, GPS and relevant surveying technology
n
- Strong plan certification, data analysis and quality assurance capabilities
n
- Excellent client and stakeholder management skills
n
- Commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
n
- A current NSW driver’s license and White Card
n
