Parkview Constructions is looking for an experienced Safety Advisor to join our team and play a key role in creating a positive, proactive safety culture across our projects.

n

Founded in 1997, Parkview is a multi-award-winning construction company with more than 180 employees and a strong pipeline of residential and commercial projects across Sydney.

n

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being on site, building strong relationships with project teams and having a genuine influence on safety outcomes. Working closely with the Site Manager and WHS&E; Manager, you will provide practical advice, support our teams and drive the ongoing improvement of our WHS&E; systems.

About the role n

Reporting to the Site Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Implementing and coordinating Parkview's WHS&E; Management System on site.
n
- Providing practical WHS&E; advice, coaching and mentoring to site and project teams.
n
- Managing and reviewing WHS&E; plans, including Project Risk Assessments and Emergency Response Plans.
n
- Acting as the key site contact for Hammertech, Parkview's online WHS&E; platform, and following up outstanding actions.
n
- Facilitating effective consultation, including pre-starts, toolbox meetings and safety committees.
n
- Providing practical advice and solutions to site and project personnel on health, safety and environmental matters.
n
- Leading investigations into injuries, incidents and near misses and identifying opportunities for improvement.
n
- Reviewing and updating WHS&E; procedures, templates and documentation.
n
- Supporting compliance with relevant legislation, standards and Parkview policies.
n




- Working with site teams to identify risks, improve safety practices and maintain a strong safety culture.
n

What we're looking for nn
- Cert IV or Diploma in WHS/OHS.
n
- Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in a construction environment.
n
- Proven experience working on high-rise residential or commercial projects valued at $50M+.
n
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work with site teams, project managers and senior leaders.
n
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to safety.
n
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
n
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.
n
- The ability to influence and engage people at all levels rather than simply focus on compliance.
n
