About the Role:

As a Commercial Analyst – Retail (Australia & New Zealand), you will provide meaningful commercial modelling, key financial and analytical information across the Retail businesses.

You will also, drive overall business profitability enabling increased strategic decision making around pricing, planning, competitor analysis, reporting and business support.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

As the new Commercial Analyst - Retail (AU & NZ), you will:

Manage and reconcile high-volume external data sets to support accurate recognition of override revenue and timely processing of agent incentive payments.

Provide weekly and monthly reporting on the performance of air, non-air and ancillary sales and accruals.

Support the build of annual air, non-air and ancillaries budget and rolling forecasts.

Provide critical analysis to support the contract negotiating process for air, non-air and ancillary supply partners

Provide analytical support as required for leadership meetings, board papers, and other communications.

Create and present excel models that will help to track trends in the business and industry.





Maintain positive and productive relationships with team members and key stakeholders.

Key Performance Indicators

- Critical thinker and proposing solutions to problems
- Ability to recommend solid solutions
- Documentation and writing kept to required standard

About You

In order to be successful for this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

Tertiary education in Commerce would be advantageous

Advanced Excel Spreadsheet skills including experience in the use of Power BI, SQL and other reporting tools is essential.

Working knowledge of Analytical and Reporting tools

Experience in a business and/or commercial analysis role developing reports and modelling

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations

Able to manage priorities

Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate and timely analysis information in support of management decision making.
