The Prospect

We're currently seeking a talented Associate with 3 to 5 years of PQE to join our dynamic Hunter Personal Injury law team based in Newcastle. In this role, you'll immerse yourself in Plaintiff Personal Injury matters, including Workers Compensation, Motor Vehicle Accidents, and Public Liability claims. In this role, you'll enjoy extensive client interaction and benefit from our collaborative workplace culture, supported by flexible work arrangements.

Key responsibilities will include

- Direct liaison with clients and providing accurate and timely advice
- Preparing Court documents/orders and general correspondence




- Managing high volume files and matters
- Attending court, dispute resolution and settlements
- Legal research

Successful candidates will have

- A valid NSW Practising Certificate
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Lawyer in the areas of Personal Injury
- A demonstrated understanding of personal injury matters and processes
- Strong negotiation, mediation, and advocacy skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong client relationship and business development skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise work and manage competing deadlines
