Global Medical Solutions – Keilor Park VIC

Global Medical Solutions (GMS) supplies time-critical radiopharmaceuticals to nuclear medicine departments across Victoria. We are looking for a Packing Operator to help ensure these products are accurately prepared for delivery so hospitals can care for their patients on time.

The early start is an essential part of this role – starting at 02:30 am. It includes packing and dispatch, as well as hands-on cleaning, preparation and housekeeping duties in a clean, controlled working workplace.

What you’ll do

- Accurately label and pack radiopharmaceuticals for dispatch.
- Prepare shipping documents, customer labels, delivery bags, placards and dangerous goods declarations.
- Coordinate dispatch and logistics arrangements for deliveries across Victoria.
- Wear appropriate PPE
- Prepare packages for the next production / delivery run
- Clean and sanitise shielding, trays, pots and other items for the next production cycle.
- Sweep and mop packing areas, empty bins and manage recycling.




- Handle returned materials and dispose of waste in line with radiation safety and waste management procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organised work area and assist with general inventory control.

What you’ll bring

- The ability to reliably work 2:30 am to 6:30 am.
- Strong attention to detail and a reliable approach to time-sensitive work.
- A willingness to undertake regular cleaning and housekeeping duties.
- Clear communication skills and a team-focused approach.
- A commitment to safety, quality and the patients who depend on timely deliveries.
- The physical ability to carry out the role, including lifting items weighing approximately 15–20 kg.
- Experience in packing, dispatch, logistics or a laboratory environment would be helpful, but we welcome applications from people who are keen to learn.
