Experienced Road Crew – Cairns Region n

Local Workforce Hire is currently representing a client looking for experienced road crew workers for a 3-month contract in the Cairns region.

Position Details n

- Location: Cairns, QLD

- Hours: 6:00 am – 3:0 pm
n
- Days: Monday to Friday
n
- Start Date: ASAP
n
- Pay Rate: $38 per hour + superannuation
n
- Contract: 3 months
n
- Team: Small road crew
n

About the Role n

You'll be working as part of a small road crew team, assisting with a range of manual labouring tasks, including:

n

n
- Laying pipes
n
- Building headwalls
n
- Pothole patching
n
- Digging and concreting
n
- General road maintenance and labouring duties
n

n

This role involves physical manual work, so you'll need to be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.





About You n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Previous experience working as part of a road crew or in a similar roadworks role
n
- Experience with physical manual labour, including digging and concreting
n
- Manual C Class driver's licence (MR licence would be an advantage)
n
- Full working rights in Australia
n
- Reliable transport and the ability to travel to and from the client's local depot
n
- A positive attitude towards workplace health and safety
n
- A robust work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team
n
