Job Description

Wollongong City Council seeks a Payroll Team Leader to manage a seven-person payroll unit delivering weekly payroll for over 1,800 staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will lead the team on complex payroll matters, system improvements, reporting, audits and strategic advice.

Reporting to Employment Relations, you will collaborate with IT, Finance and HR partners to meet legislative obligations while driving continuous payroll enhancements and data quality improvements.
