About the Role n

As a Casual Support Worker, you will provide home-based and community-based supports , assisting participants to live safely, independently, and meaningfully within their own homes and local communities.

n

This role is ideal for someone who is empathetic, reliable, and confident supporting participants with a range of needs in real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Providing practical and emotional support in the home and community
n
- Assisting with daily living activities and personal care (where required)
n
- Supporting community access, social engagement, and skill development
n
- Promoting independence, choice, and participant dignity
n
- Following care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies
n
- Completing accurate and timely case notes and documentation




n
- Communicating effectively with participants, families, and internal teams
n
- Maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to organisational policies
n

Essential Qualifications & Compliance nn
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, or related field
n
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
n
- Current National Police Check
n
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
n
- Car Registration (with expiry)
n
- Full Comprehensive Car Insurance (with expiry)
n
- Current Driver's License (with expiry)
n

Skills & Experience nn
- Previous experience as a support worker or in a similar caring role is required
n
- Experience providing disability or community-based supports
n
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
n
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to helping others
n
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)
n
