Patient Services Officer – Compass Fertility/Capital Hill Medical

Compass Fertility and Capital Hill Medical are growing, and we are looking for a Patient Services Officer to join our friendly and inclusive team. We provide a comprehensive range of specialist services, fertility treatments, including ovulation tracking, artificial insemination, IVF, IVF/ICSI, and known donor egg and sperm cycles. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care in a compassionate, organised, and efficient environment. As a Patient Services Officer, you will be a vital link between patients and our Doctors, Nursing, Laboratory, and Financial Services teams, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced Fertility Nurses, Scientists, and Medical Administrators while gaining valuable insights into the fertility field.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for patients, Patient Services Officers play a critical role in providing guidance, support, and administrative assistance. This full-time position (part-time considered for the right candidate, 3-4 days per week) involves: Patient Communication & Support

- Answering calls and directing inquiries appropriately
- Booking appointments and assisting with scheduling
- Providing basic information about fertility services and fees
- Sending cycle information to patients before treatment
- Offering financial guidance on treatment costs and payment options





Administrative & Financial Coordination

- Processing referrals, quotes, invoices, and payments
- Managing patient financial records and debt collection
- Maintaining accurate patient data entry and general correspondence
- Ordering office supplies and ensuring clinic spaces are tidy and welcoming

Team & Clinic Support

- Acting as the central hub for patient coordination
- Collaborating with medical, nursing, and finance teams
- Upholding confidentiality and professionalism at all times

About You

- A Strong Communicator – Friendly, professional, and confident in handling patient inquiries
- Organised & Detail-Oriented – Able to multitask and prioritise in a quick-paced environment
- Empathetic & Patient-Focused – Understanding of the emotional journey of fertility treatment
- Tech-Savvy – Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with administrative systems
- A Team Player – Cooperative, adaptable, and capable of working independently when needed
