About the Role

Working as part of the finance and payroll function, you will play an important role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day payroll operations and working closely with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll queries and maintain accurate records.

What You’ll Do

- Process payroll accurately and within required deadlines
- Manage payroll data, timesheets, allowances, deductions and leave
- Ensure employee records and payroll information are kept accurate and up to date
- Respond to payroll queries and provide timely support to employees and internal stakeholders
- Assist with payroll reconciliations and reporting
- Ensure payroll processes comply with relevant legislation, awards and company policies
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies




- Support payroll administration and other finance-related tasks as required

About You

- Previous experience in a Payroll Officer or similar payroll-focused role
- Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Robust organisational and time management skills
- Confident communicating with employees and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience within the mining, resources or similar industry will be highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience with payroll systems (Pronto highly desirable) and Microsoft Excel
