Payroll Officer | Full time | Rosebery, Sydney

This role sits within our shared services People & Pay team and reports to the Payroll Manager. The team works closely with our brands to support their people and retail operations.

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to take ownership of the end-to-end weekly payroll for one or more of our brands, including month-end activities, reconciliations, and reporting. Working in Dayforce, you will ensure payroll is accurate and delivered on time, resolve queries,



and work closely with retail leaders on payroll matters throughout the employee lifecycle.

Our close partnerships with brand teams, other shared services functions and Dayforce create opportunities to contribute to projects and improvements beyond the regular payroll cycle.

What you’ll bring to the role

- Experience managing end-to-end payroll and resolving complex payroll queries.
- Sound knowledge of award interpretation, payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
- Robust attention to detail, Excel skills and the ability to meet weekly deadlines.
- Clear communication and a practical, service-focused approach.
- A collaborative approach, openness to feedback and a willingness to share knowledge.
- Experience with Dayforce and the General Retail Industry Award would be an advantage.
