About the Role As an Occupational Therapist at Necessity Kids, you'll work with children and young people to build their independence, confidence and participation in everyday life.

Depending on the needs of your clients, your work may include:

- Occupational Therapy assessments and intervention
- Fine and gross motor development
- Sensory processing and regulation
- Emotional regulation
- Self-care and daily living skills
- Play, social participation and independence




- School participation and functional skills
- Working collaboratively with parents, carers and educators
- Preparing clinical documentation, progress reports and NDIS reports
- Collaborating with other members of our multidisciplinary team.

You'll have the opportunity to work across our clinic, local schools and community settings , providing therapy where it can make a meaningful difference. Who Are We Looking For?

We're looking for someone who is warm, motivated, organised and genuinely enjoys working with children and families.

You'll need

- A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current Working with Children Check
- National Police Check
- Current driver's licence
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A commitment to evidence-informed and family-centred practice.

Paediatric experience is highly regarded but isn't essential. If you have strong foundations as an OT and a genuine interest in developing your paediatric skills, we encourage you to apply.

Necessity Kids is an established multidisciplinary paediatric allied health provider based in Dapto, in the Illawarra .

Our growing team provides Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology and Early Intervention , supporting children and families across clinic, school and community environments.
