About State Sport Centres:

The Victorian State Sport Centres Trust (SSCT) operates and maintains over $1 billion assets including four of Australia’s largest multi-sport venues, the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC), the State Netball and Hockey Centre (SNHC), Lakeside Stadium incorporating the State Athletics Centre, and Knox Regional Sports Park including the State Basketball Centre (SBC).

Unlike other major international standard venues that host sport and entertainment events, SSCT venues also provide access for users at all levels, from elite and professional athletes to school and community participants 7 days per week, up to 16 hours a day.

Through the provision of access for all, SSCT makes a unique and significant contribution to Victoria’s sport sector.

About the role:

Join our People & Culture team and help create an exceptional employee experience.

We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused People & Culture Coordinator to provide responsive HR support across the organisation. In this role, you'll be at the heart of the employee lifecycle, delivering high-quality administration, maintaining workforce data integrity, supporting our HR Information system Dayforce, and helping people leaders and employees navigate People & Culture processes with confidence.

About you:

You bring a customer-first mindset, strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for supporting people. You're confident managing multiple priorities, solving problems and working collaboratively with employees and leaders to deliver positive outcomes.

Your ability to stay organised, maintain confidentiality, and provide accurate, timely support makes you a trusted and valued team member.

As our People & Culture Coordinator, you will:

- Coordinate end-to-end employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, employment changes and offboarding




- Prepare and maintain employment documentation and workforce records
- Support the administration and ongoing effectiveness of the Dayforce Workforce Management system
- Assist leaders, employees and system users to effectively utilise People & Culture systems and processes
- Monitor workforce compliance requirements, including licences, certifications and employment documentation
- Contribute to workforce reporting and maintain accurate employee data
- Identify opportunities to improve People & Culture processes, systems and service delivery
- Support People & Culture projects, initiatives and organisational priorities

Required skills and experience:

- Experience in HR administration
- Strong organisational skills including prioritising a dynamic workload
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A customer-focused approach and a passion for delivering positive employee experiences
- Experience using HRIS or workforce management systems (Dayforce experience highly regarded)
- Strong attention to detail and data management capability
- Practical, flexible and results orientated with a proven ability to solve problems.
- Maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information
