Trackside is a successful and growing national business tasked with the job of finding the correct person for elite bespoke positions. Currently we are seeking the right person to lead the Queensland warehousing operations of a successful national business with operations across Australia. Their Rocklea site is a key part of our network, and we're looking for a driven Warehouse Manager to take ownership of it and grow with us.
About the role
This isn't a desk job. We need someone who leads from the floor: someone who's just as comfortable jumping on a forklift or packing an urgent order as they are running a stocktake or managing the team roster. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the warehouse and for making it faster, tidier and more efficient.
What you'll be doing
Running daily warehouse operations: receiving, put-away, picking, packing and dispatch
Leading, training and motivating the warehouse team
Maintaining stock accuracy through cycle counts and stocktakes
Coordinating inbound and outbound freight with carriers and suppliers
Keeping the site safe, clean and compliant with WHS requirements
Identifying and implementing improvements to layout, processes and systems
Working closely with sales, purchasing and interstate branches
What we're looking for
Proven experience in a warehouse supervisor or manager role, while this is an advantage, the correct attitude will also succeed.
A genuinely hands-on attitude, with no job beneath you
Current forklift licence (LF), or willingness to obtain one
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Transparent communicator who can lead by example
Energy, drive and a desire to build a career
Starting salary from $90,000 + super, with real room to grow for the right person
