About the role

Mater Private Hospital Gold Coast is seeking a Enrolled Nurse to work within our Medical team. This position will be employed on a casual or part-time basis. Mater has finalised the strategic acquisition of Healthscope’s Gold Coast Private Hospital, this is a significant milestone in Mater’s commitment to delivering exceptional and compassionate care to Queensland communities.

Based at our Gold Coast Campus, this role will be part of our state-of-the-art 339 bed facility located in Southport. This facility was established in 2016 and offers a wide range of specialities across Emergency, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastics, ENT, General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology.

Salary range: $37.93 - $40.34 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!

What you’ll be doing

n

Whilst maintaining the highest level of clinical standards for the unit you will be responsible for:

n

n
- Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care
n
- Demonstrating exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients seeking outstanding care
n
- Implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
n
- Working collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional care every time
n
- Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth
n

About you

n

To be successful for this role you will have:

n

n




- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
n
- Minimum of 1 year experience in specific clinical specialty
n
- Ability to work in an ever-changing and rapid paced environment
n
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to role model and promote the Mater values
n
- Excellent organisational skills as well as high level written and verbal communication skills
n
- Strong attention to detail
n
- Commitment to ensuring the levels of service is delivered to patients at all times
n
