We are an established, community-focused medical practice providing comprehensive healthcare to Calwell, and Goulburn and surrounding regional communities.

The practices offers a supportive multidisciplinary environment with general practitioners, practice nurses, administrative support and other health professionals. Services include chronic disease management, musculoskeletal care, preventive health, occupational health, older-person health assessments and coordinated multidisciplinary care.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to establish and provide high-quality physiotherapy services within our medical practices. The role will involve managing a varied outpatient caseload, including musculoskeletal conditions, injury rehabilitation, mobility impairment, chronic pain and chronic disease-related functional limitations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assess patients using appropriate muscle, nerve, joint, mobility and functional ability tests.
- Identify physical impairments and formulate individualised treatment goals.
- Develop, implement and review evidence-based physiotherapy treatment programs.
- Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, rehabilitation and other appropriate physiotherapy interventions.
- Assist patients to reduce pain, restore joint mobility, improve strength, balance and physical function.
- Educate patients and families about their conditions,



rehabilitation programs and home exercises.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans where required.
- Liaise with general practitioners and other health professionals regarding patient needs and progress.
- Maintain accurate, timely and confidential clinical records.
- Contribute to screening, injury-prevention and health-promotion programs.
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement and multidisciplinary meetings.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- A recognised bachelor’s or master’s degree in physiotherapy.
- Current general registration as a Physiotherapist with Ahpra, or eligibility to obtain registration before commencement.
- At least one year of relevant post-qualification clinical experience.
- Eligibility to obtain relevant Medicare and private-health provider numbers.
- Professional indemnity insurance or eligibility to obtain appropriate cover.
- Ability to obtain any required National Police Check and NSW Working with Children Check.
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, communication and record-keeping skills.
- Commitment to evidence-based, culturally safe and patient-centred care.

Experience in private practice, general practice, musculoskeletal physiotherapy,



chronic disease management or rehabilitation is desirable.

Pay: $66,214.20 – $119,299.29 per year
