Are you ready to take the first step into the transport industry? We are offering a unique prospect for a motivated and safety-focused individual to join our team as a Transport Apprentice. Over 24 months, you will gain hands‑on experience, develop essential skills, and work towards earning your Heavy Combination (HC) driver licence, setting you up for a successful long‑term career with MJ Mahon Transport.

What You will Do:

- Assist experienced drivers with day-to-day transport operations.
- Complete nationally recognised training in transport – Certificate III in Driving Operations.
- Learn to operate , clean, and maintain several types of vehicles and equipment including having access to a fully maintained company utility vehicle during working hours.
- Conduct minor vehicle Safety Inspections
- Conduct minor mechanical repairs.
- Distribution of Truck fuel and additives




- Undertake safe loading and unloading.
- Gain real-world driving experience under supervision.
- Progress toward gaining a Forklift, MR ,HR and HC licence with full company support.

What We are Looking For:

- A genuine interest in the transport industry
- A current, clean, and valid driver’s licence (minimum Green Provisional Licence)
- Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and cheerful outlook
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- IT skills – Microsoft office
