About therole:

Are you passionate about making ameaningful difference in the lives of children and families? As aFoster Care Intake Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in helpingchildren find safe, supportive and nurturing homes when they needthem most.

Working within a dedicated and caringteam, you'll connect children with suitable foster care placements,build strong relationships with carers and key staekholders, andcontribute to positive outcomes for vulnerable children across ourcommunity.

With a rostered on-call component, no twodays are the same, making it ideal for someone who thrives in afast-paced environment and enjoys making a realimpact.

What will a typical day looklike?

- Support carers tomeet therapeutic needs - delivering individualised support tocarers based on assessment
- Maintain placementregisters - achieving 100% comliance with licensing anddocumentation standards
- Collaborate withstakeholders - building strong partnerships with Child Safetyand community agencies
- Enrich lives -contributing to events and activities that strength connectionsfor children and carers

MandatoryRequirements:

- Certificate IVlevel or higher in Community Services (Child Protection) orMental Health with significant experience in a similarfield
- Minimum 3 yearsrelevant experience
