Company Description Pain Free Pain Free Physio & Allied Health is a well-established musculoskeletal practice on the south side of Brisbane, with over 23 years of service to the community. The clinic operates as a multidisciplinary allied health center, offering care from physiotherapists, chiropractors, podiatrists, acupuncturists, dietitians, exercise physiologists, occupational therapists, and remedial massage therapists, and is an NDIS registered provider.
Team members benefit from an intensive, ongoing mentoring program, including weekly individual and group tutorials led by the principal physiotherapist and senior practitioners, as well as funded external continuing education. The practice is driven by a purpose to help people live pain-free and reach their full potential without relying on medication, injections, or surgery, and is guided by the values of integrity, growth, and respect. Through the “Pain Free, We Care” initiative, the team supports the Brisbane community with free monthly Back Pain & Sciatica Workshops since 2018.

Role Description The Physiotherapist will provide evidence-based assessment and treatment for musculoskeletal and related conditions in one of our clinics in Brisbane southside. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive initial and follow-up consultations, developing individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans, and delivering hands-on therapy, exercise prescription, and education to support pain reduction and functional improvement.
The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, participating in internal mentoring sessions and tutorials, and documenting clinical notes in line with professional and regulatory standards. The Physiotherapist will engage in patient-centered care, communicate clearly with clients and their support networks, and contribute to community initiatives such as workshops and group exercise programs. This is a full-time/part-time or contractor position with opportunities for professional development and career progression.
Qualifications
- Recognized degree in Physiotherapy and current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the AHPRA.
- Clinical skills in musculoskeletal assessment, manual therapy, exercise-based rehabilitation, and pain management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, including transparent patient education and collaborative teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, openness to mentoring, and willingness to participate in tutorials and continuing education courses.
- Organizational and time-management skills to manage caseloads, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and follow clinic procedures.
- Interest or experience in community health initiatives, group exercise classes, and workshops for diverse populations, including older adults and people living with chronic pain.
- NDIS-related experience or knowledge is beneficial, along with familiarity with private practice workflows and outcome-focused care.
