We are looking for an experienced Assistant Pizza Store Manager to join our team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who has genuine experience working in a busy pizza shop and can confidently run a shift, particularly during busy evenings, without constant supervision.

About the role

You will be responsible for helping run the store during busy trading periods and ensuring the team, food quality and service are all running smoothly.

Key responsibilities:

- Run evening shifts independently when required
- Supervise and coordinate staff during busy periods
- Prepare and stretch dough and make pizzas to a consistent standard
- Prepare pasta and other menu items
- Maintain food quality, presentation and portion control
- Manage orders and ensure they are prepared accurately and on time
- Assist with stock control, preparation and general store operations
- Train and support team members
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety and store standards
- Handle customer issues professionally when required

What we're looking for

You must have:

- Proven experience working in a pizza shop




- Strong pizza-making skills and experience making dough
- Experience preparing pasta and other pizza-shop menu items
- Previous experience supervising or managing staff
- Ability to confidently run a busy evening shift without supervision
- Good communication and leadership skills
- A strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and busy trading periods

This is not a position for someone who has only worked in general hospitality. We are specifically looking for someone with hands-on pizza shop experience.
