The role

- Assist in monitoring and improving metallurgical performance of the processing plant

- Monitor and review processing, metallurgical and laboratory operational parameters

- Make recommendations to the Senior Metallurgist based on operational information and trends

- Conduct and manage plant performance and metallurgical related projects

- Assist the Senior Metallurgist in the preparation of reports, reconciliations, budgets and forecasts

About you

- Tertiary qualification in metallurgy, chemical engineering, process engineering or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 years’ post graduate metallurgy experience in gold ore processing




- A good working knowledge of laboratory and metallurgical testing procedures

- Demonstrated skills in report writing, spreadsheets, databases, costing systems, cost control, process plant planning and scheduling, budgets and forecasts

- Sound verbal communication skills

- Good organisation and planning skills

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills

- Knowledge of MS Office software

- Current AUS manual Drivers licence
