About the role

RESCOM Hydraulics Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Plumbing Tradesman to join our team in Canberra, ACT. This is a full time position that offers the opportunity to work with a reputable plumbing company, contributing to the delivery of high-quality plumbing services to our diverse client base. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems across residential, commercial and industrial applications.

This position is integral to maintaining RESCOM Hydraulics' reputation for excellence and reliability in the Canberra region.

What you'll be doing

- Installing plumbing systems from civils to final handover
- Working within our job management software - can evolve into a tendering role for the right applicant
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans and specifications to ensure accurate installation and compliance with building and plumbing codes
- As built drawings and plan preparation for upcoming projects
- Excavation if applicant is competent
- Diagnosing plumbing problems and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner
- Collaborating with other tradespeople, site managers and clients to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to a high standard
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed, materials used and time spent on each job
- Adhering to all safety protocols and best practices on job sites

What we're looking for

- Completed plumbing apprenticeship or equivalent formal qualification recognised in the Australian Capital Territory

- Strong tech skills
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a qualified plumber in residential, commercial or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of Australian plumbing codes, standards and regulations




- Competency with standard plumbing tools and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and team members
- White Card, Asbestos & Silica training.

- Drivers license
