This is a great opportunity to be part of the world's largest bulk export port authority, encompassing the operating ports of Ashburton, Dampier, Port Hedland, and Varanus Island, as well as five future port sites.
The Opportunity Reporting to the Program Management Lead, you will work as part of a collaborative PMO team, working closely with Project Managers and stakeholders across the business to strengthen project management practices, governance and capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing, maintaining and improving PMO frameworks, processes and standards.
- Creating and maintaining guidelines, templates and project documentation.
- Establishing and managing effective document control processes.
- Developing and delivering training, guidance and coaching on PMO processes and procedures.
- Identifying opportunities to improve project management tools, processes and practices.
- Providing practical guidance and support to Project Managers.
- Supporting project, program and portfolio governance and reporting.
- Supporting the implementation and embedding of new processes and ways of working.
- Turning project data and information into clear reporting and useful insights.
- Working with stakeholders across the business to improve project management capability.
- Managing multiple priorities while ensuring tasks are followed through to completion.
About You We're looking for someone with 3-5 years' experience in a PMO or project environment who has sound knowledge of how projects are managed from end to end.

- Experience working within a PMO, project governance or project management workplace.
- A good understanding of project delivery, governance and reporting.
- Experience developing or improving processes, procedures, guidelines and templates.
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
- Experience providing guidance, training or coaching to project teams.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet regular reporting deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work comfortably with ambiguity and adapt when priorities change.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Project Management or related discipline.
- Ability to obtain a Police Clearance.
- Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
