Unearth Talent is partnering with a Federal Government client on a short-term bulk labour hire engagement which is leading the development and delivery of this Commonwealth Government priority to end family domestic and sexual violence in Australia. The delivery of this program includes development and implementation of 4 Action Plans and underpinning policy. This procurement arrangement will engage contractors from a range from APS5 through to EL2 equivalent classifications.

*You must be currently holding a BASELINE security clearance at a MINIMUM to be considered for this role*

The work requires significant policy development, stakeholder engagement, implementation planning, coordination across Commonwealth, state and territory governments, governance support, and reporting to senior executives, Ministers and Government.

Roles included in this bulk engagement: Policy advisers, Policy or content writers, Program officers or Administration officers.

Labour hire staff will be required to undertake some or all of the duties below, dependent on the role and level required:

- Lead or contribute to the development, analysis and implementation of government policy and reform initiatives.
- Research, analyse and synthesise complex information from multiple sources to support policy and action plan development and decision-making.
- Prepare high-quality policy proposals, Cabinet submissions, ministerial briefs, talking points, correspondence, meeting papers and other written products.
- Coordinate and manage programs, work plans, deliverables and reporting requirements.
- Support the planning and implementation of strategic reform activities and program outcomes.




- Engage and collaborate with Commonwealth, state and territory governments, portfolio agencies, service providers and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate consultation processes and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Contribute to governance, coordination and secretariat functions, including meeting preparation, action management and record keeping.
- Identify and implement practical solutions to complex policy and operational challenges.

Required skills, knowledge and experience:

- Robust policy development and implementation capability.
- Demonstrated experience preparing policy proposals, Cabinet submissions, ministerial briefs and other government documentation.
- Excellent written communication, drafting and editing skills.
- Strong analytical, research and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to synthesise complex information and present clear, evidence-based recommendations.
- Understanding of Commonwealth Government processes, governance and decision-making.
- Ability to quickly understand new subject matter and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in family, domestic and sexual violence policy, women's safety, child wellbeing, social policy or related sectors would be highly desirable.
- Experience supporting Commonwealth-State and Territory engagement and intergovernmental process would be highly regarded.
